BURKE, W.A. "BILL" R.C.A.F. - 22 years service, retired C.S.E. - 22 years service, retired Peacefully, surrounded with family on Monday July 24, 2006. Bill Burke in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Carol and the late Maggie. Loving father of Sandy (Jackie), Ted (Corey), Glenn Girard, Deborah (Rod Turnbull) and Colleen (Charles Rush). Proud and devoted Grandpa of Benjamin, Jennifer and Zachary and Poppy to Ryan, Jordan, Josh and Tanner and Poppa to Grace and Callum. Predeceased by his brother John Patrick Burke. Fondly remembered by his cousin Jean MacDonald and family and by the Girard family. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday to Annunciation of the Lord Church, 2414 Ogilvie Road, for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Interment Canadian National Military Cemetery, at Beechwood.
