WILLIAM POWER William James Power, born Feb. 18, 1923, passed away in Toronto on November 16, 2004. Bill was the first-born of the late John and Lila Power. Educated in Timmins, he began work in the newspaper business — reporting for the Timmins Daily Press and The Daily Commercial News and Building Record. Mr. Power worked at the Royal Ontario Museum before his retirement in 1988. Bill will be missed by his siblings Catherine Buesnel (Mac 1999), Charles (Geraldine 1978), Joseph (Margaret), Mary McCool (Leonard), Victor (Clarice), Clifford (Madeleine), Lila McNamara (James), Ronald (Joyce), Leonard, Elaine Boyes (James) and sister-in-law Gail Power (John 1992). Several nieces and nephews are also left to mourn. Parents and brother John predecease him. Bill enjoyed reading and short-story writing. He will be remembered for his wit and kind, gentle disposition. Cremation has taken place. Interment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. - 11/27/2004 - ID5276586
