Marie SCHRINER

SCHRINER, Marie Marie Schriner, beloved wife of the late Dave "Sweeny" Schriner, passed away peacefully at the Sarcee Care Centre on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at the age of 92 years. Marie is lovingly remembered by Norman (Pat) of Calgary; daughter Joanne (Bob) of Republic, Washington; grandchildren, David (Sue) Schriner, Wendy (Brian) Wellman, Robert (Deb) Anderson, Randy (Deb) Anderson, Jode (Craig) Pray; eleven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; special grandnieces, Robin and Kathleen. She was predeceased by her mother and father; two sisters, Emma and Jessie; brothers, John, Jim, George, Conrad, Jock and Henry. Marie was born and raised in Calgary where she met and married David Schriner. She followed David to New York and Toronto during his Hall of Fame Hockey Career. After David's retirement form the N.H.L., Marie and her family resided in Calgary. At Marie's request, a private family Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be forwarded directly to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 66 - 7 Street N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 4B7.
