Louis LAPLACE

LaPLACE Louis Louis LaPlace of Calgary, beloved husband of Mary LaPlace, passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Centre on April 4, 2006, at the age of 85 years. Besides his wife, he will be lovingly remembered by his children, Marilyn (Brian) Bittorf of Athabasca, AB, Ron LaPlace of Boulder, Colorado, Richard (Donna) LaPlace of Canmore, AB; grandchildren, Kent Bittorf (Jane Diner), Derice (Jim) Layher, Nicole LaPlace; great-grandchildren, Kaelie and Keelan Bittorf, Ethan, Aiden and Connor Layher; sisters, Florence (Stan) Cymbala, Marie (Hugh) McClafferty and Eileen Jensen; and numerous other relatives. He was predeceased by his brothers, James, Richard and Charles. A Celebration of Louis' life will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. If so desired, a memorial tribute in Louis' name may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta (No. 200, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB, T2N 1Z6).
