INKSTER Neal Surrounded by loving family, Neal passed away peacefully at the Rosedale Hospice on April 23, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 73. Neal will be lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty years, Gladys; his children, Terry (Larry), Brenda (John), Darcy (Tina); his grandchildren, Jodie, Darryl, Lindsay, Lauren, Meghan, Michelle and Amanda; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, too many to mention. Neal was born and raised on a farm near Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He moved to Calgary with his parents and three brothers in 1950. Neal worked with the City of Calgary for thirty-three years, served on the Anglican Church vestry for twenty-two years and was a member of the Foresters (I.O.F.) for forty-six years where he eventually served as High Chief Ranger. Neal had a huge heart and gave his time generously to others. He was an avid curler and will be sorely missed at many of the curling clubs in Calgary. A Funeral Service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church (244 Templemount Drive N.E., Calgary, AB, T1Y 6G5) on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dean Houghton officiating and will be followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Neal's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Second Floor, 215 - 12 Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB, T2G 1A2), Hospice Calgary (31 Floor, 400 - 4 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB, T2P 0J4) or St. George's Anglican Church. Arrangements entrusted to MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME and CEMETERY, 17 Avenue S.E. at Garden Road (1.5 km east of 84 Street S.E.). Telephone: 403-272-5555.
