Joan Geraldine VANDERKRACHT

WILLS Joan Geraldine (nee Vanderkracht) September 12, 1929 - May 21, 2006 Joan passed away peacefully at the Olds General Hospital at the age of 76. Joan is survived by her children, Kim, Wendy (Greg Clarke), Harold (Joyce), Joyce (David Keith); seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Doris Schmidt. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford Wills (Cliff) in 2005, and her son David in 1981. Joan was born and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. She began her career as a school teacher and enjoyed teaching until moving to Alberta. It was here where Joan settled and dedicated her life to her husband, Cliff and her family. Together with Cliff, Joan enjoyed many happy years living on the farm west of Airdrie, spending winters in the USA, camping, and most of all, sharing her love and life with family. In 2004, Joan and Cliff moved to Olds, Alberta. Much happiness continued to fill their new home, where they spent their last years surrounded by family and friends. A Memorial Service will be at MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL CHAPELS, Olds, Friday, May 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 - 29 Street, N.W., Calgary, AB, T2N 4N2, or to the Olds General Hospital, 3019 - 57 Avenue, Olds, Alberta.
