MacLeod, Eva (nee Payette) – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Monday, November 22, 2004. She was 85. Beloved wife of the late Gordon MacLeod. Dear mother of Heather Deschamps (Jacques) of London, ON and Murray MacLeod (Joanne) of Cornwall. Survived by 1 brother, Brother Albert Payette (Franciscan Father) of Victoria, BC. Proud Nanny of 4 grandchildren, Corey (Karen), Renay, Elliott and Matthieu. Predeceased by her parents Joseph Payette and Delia Samson and by 7 brothers Peter, Arthur, Paul, Gerald, Rudolph, Joseph and Ernest Payette and by one sister Rose Strange. At Eva’s request private family visitation and Funeral Liturgy were held from the chapel of the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) on Thursday, November 25, 2004 followed by cremation Rite of Committal, St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Ingleside at a later date.
