Rosemary LEONG

LEONG-ROTH Rosemary May 7, 1957 - May 30, 2006 Rosemary Leong-Roth passed away after a lengthy illness on May 30, 2006 at the age of 49. Rosemary will be lovingly remembered by her husband Herb Roth; mother-in-law Hertha Roth; brother Howard Leong; nephew Henry Leong and nieces, Ruby, Pearl and Tammy and their spouses and children. Everyone who was close to Rosemary was touched by her optimism and calm, joyful response to a life in the shadow of a ten-year illness and will cherish their memory of her. Rosemary was born in Calgary but preferred the cheery tropical climates to our falls and winters. She particularly enjoyed her trips during the last ten years and experienced them with an intensity that few do. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the numerous health care professionals who helped Rosemary survive her illness as long as she did. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a Prayer Service at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Monday, June 5, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Foster's Garden Chapel, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Blood Services Foundation, www.blood.ca/foundation .
