Lesperance, Curtis - Mr. Curtis Andrew Lesperance, 41 years, of Lake Helen Reserve, Ontario passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital, Nipigon, Ontario. Curtis was an avid outdoorsman and a skilled handyman. He enjoyed the game of hockey and was a frequent spectator when his children, nephews, or nieces were playing. Predeceased by his father Albert Lesperance in 2003, by his grandparents - Dennis and Lucy Lesperance; he is survived by his wife Andrea of Lake Helen, by six children Jeremiah Thompson (Ashley) and Ryan Lesperance both of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Shannon, Sonya, Katelyne and Kirkland Lesperance all at home, by two grandchildren - Toni-Lynn and Germaine, by his mother Shirley Lesperance of Lake Helen, by four brothers - Reggie (Debbie) Legarde of Orillia, Ontario, Conway (Connie) Lesperance of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Michael (Cheryl) and Frank (Heather) Lesperance both of Lake Helen, by three sisters - Cecile (Jim), Lucille and Norman Lesperance all of Lake Helen and by Grandma. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Resting at the residence of his mother Shirley, #7 Main Street, Lake Helen where friends may call after 4 P.M. on Saturday, June 19, 2004. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 21, 2004 at 11 A.M. at the Church of the Annunciation, Nipigon with Father W. Chochrek officiating. Interment will be in St. Sylvester’s Church Cemetery, Lake Helen. Prayers will be offered at the residence on Sunday, June 20, 2004 at 7 P.M. Arrangements are in the care of Elliott Funeral Home Ltd., Nipigon.
