Thelma J. HINGSTON

FRENCH Thelma J. 1929 - 2006 Thelma French (nee Hingston), beloved wife of Eric of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital, July 18, 2006 at the age of 77 years. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of fifty-eight years, Eric; and their children, Carol Abram (Michael), Bruce (De'Anne); and four grandsons, Ryan and Sean Abram and Jason and Brandon French, all of Calgary. Thelma is also remembered by Daryl Timmins of Calgary, AB, Michael and Barbara French of Vernon, BC, and Ron and Diane French of Calgary, AB, and their families. Thelma and Eric spent many wonderful summers at their home in Windermere, BC, and many winters with their friends in Scottsdale, Arizona. The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Lategan and the nurses and staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre for their wonderful care and support over the past few years. At Thelma's request, there will be no formal Funeral Service held. A Celebration of Thelma's Life will be held at Earl Grey Golf and Country Club, 6540 - 20 Street S.W., on Thursday, July 27, 2006 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Thelma's memory directly to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre at 1331 - 29 Avenue N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 4N2.
