PLATH, Werner Gunther Dietrich Died peacefully after one last party on September 28, 2006. We lost a husband, father, Opa, and friend in his 72nd year. Werner will be missed by his loving wife Liz (Mulli) and his children Regina and her husband Mario of Kemptville, Ontario, Tom and his wife Linda of Richmond, B.C., Susan and her husband David of Brockville, Ontario, Ralph and his wife Marilyn of Ottawa, Ontario, his family in Germany and the many friends he has met along the way. The grandchildren Philip, Emilie, Simon, Kira, Amber, Samantha, Mieke and Conor will miss the many fun times and adventures with their Opa. We will always remember Werner for his strength and courage, as well as his wisdom, kindness, honesty, and devotion to his family. Friends may pay their respects at the Tubman Funeral Home Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd), Nepean on Sunday, Oct. 1 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. There will be a party to celebrate his life at Liz's home at 2721 Baylie Ave. on Monday, Oct. 2 from 4 p.m. on. In memorium, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Thanks go out to Dr. Seeley and the staff at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre.
