Il laisse aussi ses deux fils, Christopher et Kevin; son frère Bernard (Pauline) et sa soeur Teresa Hollands (John) en Angleterre. Selon le désir de John, il n'y aura pas de visites à la maison funéraire et pas de service. Une rencontre aura lieu à une date à déterminer pour célébrer la vie bien remplie de John. Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Société d'Alzheimer de Hull seraient appréciés.
