Laurent LAFONTAINE

Laurent Lafontaine , of Kapuskasing - Date of Death: May 27th, 2005 - Laurent Lafontaine, 27-2 McPherson Ave., Kapuskasing, died at his home on May 27, 2005. He was 73 years old. Mr. Lafontaine was born on Jan. 28, 1932 in Kapuskasing. He worked as a miner. He enjoyed reading and watching western movies and WWF. Mr. Lafontaine was predeceased by his wife Bella in 1983, two grandchildren Amanda and Jessie and one brother Jean-Paul. He is survived by sons Ernest (Carole) of Kap and Larry (Mary) of Toronto and daughters Monique Lafontaine of Sudbury, Della (Robert) Hendry of Toronto, Lorraine (Nick) Lazarus of Moose Factory and Angela Lafontaine-Wilker (Rodney) of Sudbury. Also surviving are sisters Yvette Germain and Solange Harrison of Kap, Angele Lozier of Hawksbury, brother Norbert of Thunder Bay, 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. There will be no service. Mr. Lafontaine will be interred at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. Funeral director was the Guenette Funeral Home.
