Donna LEARY

FEDIKOW, Donna (nee Leary) Born in Zone Township, June 20, 1926; died December 1, 2004 in Windsor. Beloved wife of 48 years to Walter Fedikow. Donna will be greatly missed by her loving and devoted sisters Marie Zvric, Pat Leary and Sharon Taylor. Cherished aunt to Lynn and John Ponic, Greg and Nancy Zvric, Mark Taylor, Tracey Leary and Todd Leary. Dearest great aunt to Courtney Ponic, Kali, Casey, Alaina, Adam and Matthew Zvric, Much loved sister-in-law to Kaye Leary, Mary Daneliuk and the late John Fedikow. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Mildred Leary; brother Robert Leary and nephew David Taylor. An employee of Hiram Walker, Donna retired after many years of dedicated service. She was remarkably talented in the arts of needlework. Donna was devoted to all in her family and - even in her illness - continued to be a keen participant in weekly social evenings with her loving niece & sisters. Donna was a long time and devoted member of Tecumseh United Church. She will also be fondly remembered by her extended family of cousins and second cousins as the instigator and matriarch of the Collins family reunion. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830) on Friday, December 3, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Rev. George McPhee officiating. Cremation will follow and the interment of cremated remains will take place at Victoria Memorial Gardens. In kindness, memorial donations to Tecumseh United Church or to the ALS Society of (Windsor) Essex County, would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Donna Fedikow in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2004. All are welcome.
