Marianne Dreesen (née Gehrmann) August 09, 1928 - December 07, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Glen Eden Funeral Home (Winnipeg) Peacefully on December 7, 2004, at the age of 76, Marianne Dreesen passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. She was predeceased by her son Ulrich (54), on November 20, 2004. Marianne is survived by her husband Hans (79); son Hans Jochem (Pat); grandchildren Krystal, Hannah, Lucas and Michael; and daughter-in-law Darlene. Marianne is also survived by her brother Hans Jurgen Gehrmann and sister Leni Budde living in Germany. Marianne enjoyed sewing for friends and family as well as for a career. Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 9, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 10, at 10:00 a.m. also in the chapel, with interment and reception to follow. Pallbearers will be Michael Dreesen, Lucas Dreesen, Ralph Hackert, Kyle Hackert, Mike Calavito and Dean Hart. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CNIB.
