GREEN, Eugean 'Jean' (nee Dixon) - Peacefully, at Park Lane Terrace, Paris on Monday April 27, 2009, Eugene Marjorie Green of Canning in her 89th year. Born in Middleport on June 4, 1920. Jean spent many years as a nurse at Brantford General Hospital and Park Lane Terrace. She was a former member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Middleport and now a member of St. James Anglican Church, Paris. Following her retirement she enjoyed travelling and the company and friendship of her friends and neighbours. Beloved wife of the late Ray Green (1988); loved mother of Donald, of Canning, the late Carl (1993), and William of Windsor, foster mother to Terry Leveque (Audrey) of Meaford; dear sister of Isobel Butcher of Waterford. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Fern Dixon, a granddaughter Beverley, a brother Bruce Dixon and a sister Erma Hodgins. Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, (8 Burwell St. Paris) on Friday 2 p.m. Reverend Stephen Hendry officiating. Interment Paris Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society or St. James Anglican Church would be appreciated.
