CONRAD , Harold Arthur August 18, 1951 - May 5, 2009 Harold Conrad, beloved husband of Rosa Conrad, of Calgary passed away May 5, 2009 at the age of 57. As well as his wife Rosa, Harold will be dearly missed by their children Tanisha, Vanessa and Ethan; five brothers and sisters, John Conrad (Ellen) of Taber, Ruth Payne (Nolan) of Cardston, Perry Conrad (Ellisa) of Calgary, Margaret Kemp (Clarence) of Layton, UT and Marie Macy (Steve) of Milford, OH; and many other relatives and friends. Harold was predeceased by his parents Beulah (nee Harding) and Clyde Conrad. Harold was born and raised in Taber, Alberta. Following High School, Harold served a LDS mission to New Zealand and then attended the University of Calgary where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He returned to Taber where he farmed for a period of time and met the love of his life Rosa. They were married December 7, 1988 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Harold began working for Spartan Controls Ltd. as a project engineer while still in Taber and eventually relocated to Calgary. Harold loved reading science fiction novels, building model rockets and interacting with computers. Harold was a man of great patience, honesty and integrity. He was a dedicated and wonderful husband and father and will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at PIERSON'S FUNERAL SERVICE, 4121 - 17 Avenue S.E. on Sunday, May 10 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Willow Park Chapel, 940 Acadia Drive S.E. on Monday, May 11 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Marlin Snider officiating.
