WILKINSON, Doreen May (nee Braund) - Died peacefully on May 13, 2009 in Toronto. Born on June 24, 1923 in Peterborough, daughter of the late Mendel and Ivy Braund. Predeceased by her husband Wilbert “Jimmy” Wilkinson (1986). Doreen is survived by her brother Gerry Braund of Guelph, sisters-in-law Peggy Braund of Peterborough and Marion Braund of Brantford, as well as Wilbert's sister Nora (Alvin) of Marysville. Loving mother to Aubrey (Sharon) of Stouffville, Gary (Beatrice) of London, Peter (Kathy) of Stouffville, Paul (Gwen) of Toronto and Neil (Sue) of Uxbridge. She will be sadly missed by her 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Doreen was a long time resident of St. Clair O'Connor Community. She had a great passion and love for her family and friends, opening her heart to everyone. At her request, arrangements for cremation have been made through CHAPEL RIDGE FUNERAL HOME in Markham. A memorial service will be held at St. Clair O'Connor Community (2703 St. Clair Ave. E., Toronto) on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 1:00 pm. 11512794
