JUNKIN, Bernard E. (Spider) - (WW#2 Overseas Veteran, Long time employee of Voyageur). Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Center on May 19, 2009 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Beatrice Scriver. Loving father of Myra Buchan of Peterborough, Morley Junkin of Owen Sound, and Burritt Junkin (Peggy) of Ennismore. Very Special Grandpa and Poppie to Debbie, Glen, Cheryl (John), Londa, Bryan (B.J.), Kim, Denis, Tracey, Jeffrey, and Matthew. Great-grandpa of Amber, Tyler, Victoria, Nick, and Sarah. Dear brother of Carole McGregor and June Bulmer. Predeceased by 7 brothers and 1 sister. Predeceased by his parents Maude and Delbert Junkin. Friends are invited to call at the KAYE FUNERAL HOME “Memorial Chapel“ 539 George St. N., on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday May 22, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Reverend Paul Grassie officiating. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
