PEARSE, Hilda Ileen (nee Pigden) - Retired from G.E. Canada. Longtime member of Northminster United Church - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Extendicare, Peterborough in her 89th year. Hilda was the beloved wife of the late G. Merton Pearse (1994). Loving mother of Lorne Elden Pearse (wife Clarice) and Margaret Moore (husband Keith). Dear Nanny of Cathy Ruttle (husband Len), Terry Moore (wife Janet), Steven Pearse (wife Carol) and Andrea Legere (husband John). Great-grandmother of 6 and great great grandmother of one. Sister of the late Helen, Pete, Muriel and Thelma. She loved her many dear nieces and nephews and will be fondly remembered by many friends. A private family service was held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. Donations to the Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated.
