BLAHITKA, John 1949 - 2008 John Blahitka passed away peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital on June 14, 2008. John will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Vira, his son Steven and daughter Talia. John was born and raised in Lachine, Quebec, graduated from Loyola College in Montreal then continued his Graduate Studies at the University of Ottawa before moving to Calgary in 1980. A dedicated husband, father and dynamic businessman, John will be remembered for his quick wit, humor and never ending high energy level. He leaves his mother Mary, niece Julia (Cormac and Tadhg) and nephew Johnny in Lachine, Quebec, nephew Mike (Angie) in Houston, Texas and brothers Mike (Darucia), Joe (Laurie, Katie, Dustin) in Calgary. A very special thank you to the staff at Rockyview Hospital for their excellent care and sensitivity to us during our time of need.
