William BOKOVOY

BOKOVOY, William (Bill) Passed away on June 2, 2009 at the age of 80. Son of the late Anthanasi Bokovoy and the late Zena Lahomsky. Beloved husband of Germaine Picard. Father of Peter and Debbie. Brother of Edna, of Chase, BC, John of Forest Grove, BC, and Sarah of Toronto and the late Victor, Boris, Alex, Paul, George, Tom and Willard. Bill grew up in Gatineau. He attended MacDonald College and Sir George Williams University. He worked at Frost Chemical in Montreal for several years then moved to Ottawa where he began a long career at Statistics Canada. Bill will be missed by his extended Picard and Bokovay families and his many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Elizabeth Bruyere Centre or the Palliative Care Outreach Program. A Celebration of Bill's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Avenue, Ottawa. Published in the Ottawa Citizen from 6/6/2009- 6/12/2009
