PITURA, Kazimierz “Karl“ - In loving memory of Kazimierz “Karl“ Pitura, 74 years, who passed away at his residence in Sudbury on Friday, June 12th, 2009. Beloved husband of Janina (nee Cieszko) of Sudbury. Loving father of Ursula Skowronski (husband John) of Garson, Susan Pitura (husband Andrew Fiore) of Vancouver and Linda Pitura (husband David Patrick) of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Lilly and Willem. Dear son of Boleslaw and Anna, both predeceased. Karl was born in Poland on August 31st, 1934 and came to Sudbury in 1962. For 28 years, he worked for INCO, retiring in the early 1990's. In his soul, he was a true teacher who passed along his love of books and music to his family. Private family funeral prayers at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Interment to follow at the Civic Cemetery.
