Gerald Byron Duffy Gerald Byron Duffy, 70, of People's Park Tower, Moncton passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, December 15, 2004. Born in Hillsborough, son of the late James and Jessie (Steeves) Duffy. Gerald was a retired self-employed painter, former member of the R.C.A.F and enjoyed playing cribbage and scrabble. He is survived by his daughters, Margaret Plewes (Gary), Moncton, Cindy Duffy (George), Stilesville, Geraldine Hopper (Sheldon), Dawson Settlement, Jayne Rockwell, Pugwash, NS; sons, Jim Duffy (Samantha), Port Coquitlam, BC, John Rockwell (Carol), Halifax, NS, Jason Duffy (Chantal), Dawson Settlement; several grand- children; sisters, Joan Harriman, Lila Chase (Ted), Carolyn Mitton (Lorne), all of Moncton; brothers, Wesley (Linda), Edgett's Landing, David (Lynne), Shediac Bridge; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one daughter, Lillian; sister, Paula; brother, James. No visitation by request. Public Graveside Committal Service at Dawson Settlement Baptist Cemetery Sunday, December 19, 2004, 2pm, Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating.
