Hannah HEYDER

MERKLEY, Hannah (Heyder) - 1924-2009 Mrs. Hannah Merkley, aged 85 years, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospice. She was born in Port Arthur to Fred and Ethel Heyder. In the early year’s Hannah was a Rosie the Riveter at Can Car. Her main interests were her family and home and she enjoyed traveling, playing sports and square dancing. Hannah is survived by her husband of 62 years, Lynn; sons Lynn (Jackie) of Terrace Bay, Ralph (April) of B.C., Dennis (Monika) of B.C. and Wayne of Manitoba; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers. She is predeceased by her parents and four brothers. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from 7 - 9 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Hannah Merkley will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home.
