Mrs. Lena Cullen, Charlottetown Born in 23/05/1927 at Charlottetown , Prince Edward Island , Canada The death occurred at her late residence on Monday, June 29, 2009, of Lena Mae Cullen (nee Stewart) of Vail Dr., Charlottetown, and formerly of Hampshire, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Tom Cullen. Loving mother to Marjorie “Marge” (Barry) Gass, Mermaid; Joyce Collinson, Charlottetown; Daniel “Butch” (Judie) Stewart, Meadowbank; Helen Gallant, Hamilton, Ontario; Brian Stewart, Charlottetown; Sandra (Steve) Hughes, Charlottetown; Sheila (Ian) Gallant, St. Albert, Alberta; Sterling (Florence) Cullen, Red Deer, Alberta; Wayne (Glenda) Cullen, Charlottetown; Brad Cullen, Charlottetown; and Sheldon (Carrie) Cullen, Cornwall. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Nettie Stewart of Hampshire. Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home until Friday, then transferred to Zion Presbyterian Church for funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
