Hannu SALOKANGAS

SALOKANGAS , Hannu August 1, 1956 - June 27, 2009 A wonderful father and friend to many, Hannu will be best remembered for his kind and generous spirit. Easy to be around he moved in a wide variety of circles. Born in a small town in the Finnish countryside he was the only child of Aarre and Paula Salokangas. He grew up on an idyllic farm where he learnt the value of hardwork and developed a love for animals especially horses and dogs. After graduating university with a degree in engineering he began what would be a full and rewarding life. Hannu resided in over ten countries and worked in many more. He was fluent in four languages but most proficient in the language of friendship. His passions included golf, horse racing, skiing, Dick Francis novels, a glass of good single malt scotch but most importantly his two daughters Essi and Emilia. He will be so missed....
