William Robert PETTIGREW

PETTIGREW, William Robert (Bill) In Hospital on Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Dear husband of the late Edith Pettigrew. Devoted and loving father of Lynn Quinn (Jim). After 38 years, Bill retired from Canadian Pacific in 1988 as Director of Foreign Freight and he was very involved with the Montreal Traffic Club and was a founding member of the Vintage Automobile Club of Montreal. In 1999, Bill and Edith followed Lynn to Ottawa where he became an active member of the Antique Auto Club of Ottawa. He attended many shows with his prized 1927 Erskine Studebaker and 1960 Nash Metropolitan. For many years, Bill served as an usher at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Bill will be greatly missed by Meaghan and Aaron and his extended New Brunswick Quinn family. He will be missed and fondly remembered by all. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday July 10, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (44 Rothesay Drive, Kanata). A Reception will follow in the Parish Hall. Private family interment.
