OBITUARY PETER BARAN 1928 - 2009 Passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Monday, July 6, 2009 at the age of eighty. He joins his dearly missed wife, Irma, who passed eleven months ago. The adored dad of Ellen, Cathy, Nick (Kelly) and Marc (Caroline). Devoted "diydo" to Cheyanne. Beloved brother to Mary and Catherine and cherished relative to a large extended family in Ukraine. Truly loved by all who knew him. A man among men but a dad above all. His family will receive condolences on Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux (514)685-3344. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Rideau Chapel. Donations in his memory to the Children of Chernobyl Canadian Fund would be deeply appreciated.
