CHALMERS , Robert Douglas (Bob) On July 6, 2009, Robert Douglas (Bob) Chalmers, of Edmonton, passed away after a courageous battle with Cancer. Bob will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife, Eva; son, Scott of Edmonton, AB; daughter, Terra (Tom) Schoubye of Winnipeg, MB; sisters, Sharon (Tony) Overwater of Didsbury, AB and Mary Jane Gowdy of Airdrie, AB; brothers, Harold (Irene) Austin of Port Alberni, BC, Joel (Terry) Soroka of St. Albert, AB, and Allan Gouldie (Kathy Trawick) of Sherwood Park, AB, as well as several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation towards the staff at the Cross Cancer Institute (especially Dr. Loree Larratt and Nurse Debbie Rusnak), Capital Health Palliative Home Care (especially Nurses Janet Klotz and Katherine Turczyk), and St. Joseph Auxiliary Hospital - Palliative Care Section. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 10025 - 105 Street, Edmonton.
