HODGINS, June (nee Playfair) Peacefully in hospital, Shawville, Quebec, on Friday, July 10, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Glenn Hodgins. Wonderful mother of Heather (Joe Martyniuk), Nepean, Ontario and Catherine (Jamie Elliott), Orleans, Ontario. Gentle, caring and attentive grandmother of Andrew, Julia and David. Predeceased by her brother, Howard. June was a kind and capable nurse, generous friend and extraordinary person. A gathering in her honour will be held in Shawville United Church Hall, on Monday, July 13, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. Donations to Shawville United Church, Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation Dialysys Project, or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
