FORTIER (HARRIS), Pauline - (1925- 2009) - The family announces with sorrow her death at the Golden Manor on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at age 83 years. Pre- deceased by her great-grandson Luke Fortier (2008) and husband Marcel Fortier (2001). Dearest mother of Jeanne Viel (Claude), Arthur Fortier (Pauline), Oscar Fortier (Rejeanne) and Gerald Fortier (Rita) all of Timmins. Dear sister of Fernand Petit of Pembroke and Fernande Gagnon of Kirland Lake. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren as well as her many brothers and sisters-in-law from the late Marcel Fortier family. Pre- deceased by her daughter Diane Fortier, parents Joseph and Beatrice Petit, and brothers Jean-Paul Petit, Claude Petit, Joe Petit and Andre Petit. The family wishes to express its gratitude to Dr. Auger as well as the nurses and staff of West 2 wing at the Golden Manor for their wonderful care and compassion. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 12 noon from St. Dominique Church. Remembrance donations to the Golden Manor or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
