MACDONALD, Douglas Edward - Peacefully in his sleep, at Welland County General Hospital on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, five days following his 77th birthday. Loving husband of 49 years to Joy. Dearly loved father of Shari (Perry) and Clark (Sharyn-Ruth). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Lauren, Connor, Timothy, Alexander and Shayla. The family will receive friends at Welland Brethren in Christ Church, 50 Lincoln Street, Welland from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm following a 1:00 pm service on Friday August 21, 2009. If desired, memorial donations to Welland Brethren in Christ Church would be appreciated by the family.
