William Joseph STANLEY

STANLEY, William Joseph (Bill) - At the United Mennonite Home, Vineland on Saturday August 22, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Bill Stanley of Beamsville, aged 69 years. Bill grew up in Campden and was an outstanding fastball pitcher and hockey player. He is survived his wife Rita (nee Bast) and sons Mark (Brenda) of Woonsocket, R.I. and Scott (Becky) of Keswick, grandchildren Elizabeth, Thomas and Benjamin, and siblings, Marjorie (2008) Welsh, George (2007) (Rachel), Rick (Sandi), Rob (Linda), John (Phyllis), Frank (Giselle) and Joanne (Russ). Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND Chapel of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St., Vineland on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-8:30. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Gospel Church, 4129 Hixon St., Beamsville on Thursday August 27 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donation to Gideon Bibles or the United Mennonite Home, Vineland would be appreciated by the family.
