GAUTHIER, Marcel V. - 1933 ~ 2009 The family announces with great sorrow his death at the Lady Minto Hospital on Sunday, August 16th, 2009 at the age of 76 years, after a 5 year battle with cancer. Marcel loved to laugh. His greatest treasure has been the love of his partner and best friend of over 58 years Joyce (née Clarke) He will be greatly missed by his children Michel Gauthier, JoAnne Arsenault (Daniel), Therese Bruneau (Yvan) all of Cochrane, Lorraine Wilson (Brian) of Ottawa, and Lianne Raymond (Wayne) of Porcupine. He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren David Arsenault (Natasha), Suzanne Arsenault, Kathryn Laporte ( Bryan), Stephane Bruneau (Edith), Maxime Bruneau all of Cochrane. Joey Raymond of Red Lake, Lizanne Raymond of Porcupine, Amanda and Celina Wilson of Ottawa; great grandchildren Nathaniel, Zachary and Kayla. Marcel is survived by sisters Monique Genier (Donald) of Cochrane and Marguerite Veilleux (Michel) of Val D'Or. Predeceased by his parents Edgar and Therese (nee Bussiere),and brother Roland. Marcel loved the outdoors and could always find peace in tranquility of nature. His sense of humour has been a source of comfort, strength and well-being to all who crossed his path. Daddy you will be missed - your smile, your laughter, your jokes<$>.good fishing and hunting. The family has received friends at IRVINE & IRVINE LTD, 149 Third Street, Cochrane, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 from 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 11:00am the Transfiguration Church with Father Rémi Lessard officiating.
