WOOD, Jennie Ruth - (Past president of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #72 Ladies' Auxilliary) peacefully in Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Jennie Wood of Pembroke, beloved wife of John Wood. Loving mother of Dale Arsenault, Brampton; Pat Armstrong (Andre), Pembroke; Dan Wood (Roxanne), Red Deer, AB; and Jim Wood (Karen), Wilsonville. Nana of Chris, Kevin & Matthew Arsenault; Mike Armstrong; Sean, Ryan & Joey Wood; and Cody, Chantelle & Dylan Wood. Super Nana to Emma. Predeceased by daughter Donna Wolanski (Frank), Pembroke. Survived by several brothers and sisters. By request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Jennie's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #72 on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #72 Ladies' Auxiliary are requested to assemble at the Legion Hall on Sunday for a service following the Memorial.
