NERO, Doris (Blais) - With saddened hearts the family of Doris Nero announces her passing at the Niagara Health System, Welland site on Thursday July 30, 2009 in her 56th year. Dearly loved wife of 36 years to Ralph Nero, cherished mother of Rob (Jennifer) of Sault Ste Marie, Rick (Jillian) of St. Catharines and Kimberley McQuillan (Andrew) of Welland. Dear sister of Carole Marceau (Claude) of Port Colborne, Helene Moscato (Don) of Fonthill and Richard Blais of Nanaimo, B.C. Doris will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Olivia and Sophia Nero, Angelina and Alexander McQuillan and Stella Nero as well by her cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents Fernand and Marguerite Blais. Doris worked at the Niagara Health System, Welland Site for 25 years, she enjoyed her many trips to Aruba, her backyard pool and making crafts and baking delicious treats. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main Street Welland on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 am with family present from 9 am. Procession to Pleasantview Memorial garden will follow.
