McNAB, Douglas Robert City of Ottawa employee - Retired After a brief illness in hospital on Friday, July 31, 2009 at the age 74. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Martz). Loving father of Mark McNab (Amanda Porter). Cherished grandfather of Ariad and Lila. Dear brother-in-law of Vera Boast of Winnipeg and Myrtle (Cal Hoffmann) of Vancouver. Dear uncle of Brian, Barry (Michelle), Lori, great uncle of T.J. and Hailey and cousins Laurie and Edward Wight. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road on Sunday, August 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, August 10 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to CHEO or to the Carp Library would be appreciated.
