Maurice Joseph DEAGLE

Maurice Joseph Deagle Peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sunday, September 6, 2009, of Mr. Maurice Deagle of Charlottetown and formerly of West St. Peters, age 83 years. Beloved husband of Alberta (nee Laybolt) Deagle and dear father of Elmer (Dianne), Linda (Shane) Hennessey, Gerard (Donna), Susan (Mike) Trainor and Darryl (Helen). Maurice is also survived by 17 loving grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; 2 great-great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Lucy (Deveaux) Deagle; son, Jerry; brother, Jerome; sisters, Ellen, Irene, Elsie, Rita, Della and Eunice. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until Wednesday morning, then transferred to St. Andrew’s Church, Mount Stewart, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
