BLACK, George “Howard“ - At North Bay General Hospital on Thursday, September 10, 2009 in his 68th year. Howard Black was the beloved wife of Linda (Sawyer) of North Bay and was predeceased by his wife Rae (Pyette) 1941-2008. He was the beloved father of Glen (Carol) of Timmins and Ken of Callander and grandfather of Anita and Dean. Howard is survived by his mother Nellie Mason of North Bay and his sister Ruth Knight of Sutton. He was predeceased by his father Clarence Black and his brother Douglas Black. Howard and his first wife Rae have been co-owners and operators of a local sweet business, Fuddy- Duddy Fudge for over 10 years. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home in Powassan on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am in the chapel. Cremation to follow.
