PENNER, Jacob - At the Niagara On The Lake General Hospital on Friday, September 11, 2009, Jacob Penner, aged 87 years. Husband of Lillian Irene Penner and father of Patricia (John) Hopper, Sylvia Smith and Nancy Penner. Stepfather of Al (Annette) Phippen. Grandfather of Kim (Jeff) Goodband, Heidi (Braden) Wachtel, Jennifer (Kevin) Zehr, Jeannette (Jeremy) Taylor, Cheryl (Jeremy) Budarick, Nichole Phippen, Jennifer (Geoff) Schwenker and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife Susan in 1997, parents Jacob and Aganetha Penner, sister Nettie Andrews, son in law Doug Smith and grandson Craig Watson. Brother of Mary (Jake), Martha (Sid), Peter (Michele), John (Marilyn). Loved and remembered by nieces, nephews and large extended family and friends. The family will gather at Niagara Lake Shore Cemetery in Niagara On The Lake on Monday, September 14th at 10:30 a.m. for graveside interment followed by visitation at Cornerstone Community Church in Virgil and prior to the Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations to Far East Broadcasting, Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Association or Ministry/Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
