RAY, Elsie - Passed away peacefully at Durham Hospital on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Elsie Ray (nee Ewen), resident of Rockwood Terrace, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Donald E. Ray. Dear mother of Jack (Janice) of Markham, Doug (Adele) of Durham, Jaydee (Susan) of North Bay, Adele Payne of Midland and Andy (Brenda) of Barrie. Grandma Elsie will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Matthew, Angela & Crystal, Bob & Gavin, Dan & Kristy, Kyle & Tyler, Doug & Amy, and great grandchildren Adam, Megan & Jackson. Elsie will be especially missed by her best friend, Adele Schenk. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Rockwood Terrace on Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 2 to 4 pm. Memorial Service at Durham Presbyterian Church on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 11:00 am; visitation one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rockwood Terrace Foundation or the charity of your choice.
