OBITUARY ANDREW YIN SVOBODA (Composer of music, Ph.D student at Columbia University, New York). Passed away suddenly in Burlington, Ontario on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 in his twenty-eighth year. Cherished son of Josef and Lewina of Burlington. Dear brother of Michael Svoboda and his wife Jennifer England of Whitehorse. Grandson of Leung Fung Shuen-Yung of Hong Kong. Missed also by aunts, uncles and cousins in the Czech Republic, Hong Kong and Canada. Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), Burlington (905-632-3333) on Tuesday, January 4 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Brant Street (at Blairholm), Burlington, on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A student scholarship fund for music composition is being set up at McGill University in Andrew's name. Prayer Vigil Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
