HEFFERNAN, Ambrose William - Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in his 81st year. Beloved partner of Irene Smith. Loving father of Pauline (Hank) Todd, Bernadette (Roger) Crowe, Mary (Barry) Cooper, Tom (Rosalind), Leo (Ann), Anne Cranley (Sam Hilderbrandt), Debbie Heffernan (Terry Ball), Patti (Dan) Lee; pre- deceased by Ambrose Jr. Dear grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Catherine Moloney and predeceased by brothers Fred, Leo and Robert. Son of the late William Joseph Heffernan and Marie Bernadette Nolan. Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday (Parish Prayers 3:45 p.m. Friday). Funeral Mass in OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH, OTONABEE on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 10 a.m. Reverend David West officiating. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Douro.
