NEIL, Emerson Harvey “Em“ - On Thursday, October 23, 2009 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Dell Thornton and the late Mary Bruce. Loving father of Garry (Anne) of Rodney, Judy Goyne (John) of Pontypool, Step-Father of Charles (Margie) Thornton of Sarnia, Carol Lohmayer (Gerry) of Lindsay. Grandpa Neil & Granddad will be sadly missed by 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and their families. Uncle Em will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews other family & friends. Visitation will be held from 1 - 4 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2009 at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 600 MONAGHAN RD, S., PETERBOROUGH, (705) 745-3211. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in the Nisbett Chapel. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.
