WHITESIDE, Robert Archibald - (Retired 44 year employee of Canadian General Electric) - At Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, October 29, 2009. Beloved husband of Mary Ann “Marie“ Barrett. Dear father of Sharon Lang (Ron) of Peterborough, Robert J. Whiteside (Rena) of Peterborough, Carol Whiteside of Ennismore (friend Paul of Peterborough), Lynn Courneya (Paul) of Fife's Bay, Brian Whiteside of Fife's Bay (friend Lori of Peterborough) and the late Mary Black. Grandfather of David, James, Carol, Scott, Peter, Wendy, Paul and Brittney and their families. Brother of Jean Hardwick (late Fred) of Florida and the late Gord Whiteside. Brother-in-law of Evelyn Whiteside, Agnes Willshaw (Harold) and Ken Barrett. At the request of Mr. Whiteside cremation will be followed by private family arrangements, Interment St. Martin's Cemetery, Ennismore. In memory of Mr. Whiteside, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the KAYE FUNERAL HOME & MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 539 George Street North.
