Mrs. Alva Irene Hatch October 22, 1926 - July 17, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Nanaimo) HATCH, Alva Irene, passed away Saturday July 17, 2004 in Dufferin Place, Nanaimo, BC. Survived by her husband William Darrell Hatch, daughters Roberta Hatch, Bev Day, sons Murray (Cathy), Cliff Humberstone ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren, nieces, nephew and two sisters in law Marg and Stella Allen. We would like to send our appreciation to all the lovely staff at Dufferin Place in Arbutus Unit for all the loving care and time they spent with Alva, along with special thanks to Dr. White and Dr. Benton Foster and retired Dr. Beniot.
