WINGER, Ivy Jennie (nee Fickling) - July 3, 1926 to Oct. 28, 2009 - Passed away peacefully with family at her side at St Joseph's At Fleming Home in Peterborough in her 84th year. Retired from Neilson Chocolates on Gladstone Avenue in Toronto. A proud member of the 25 year club. Beloved wife of Elwood Andrew Winger for 63 years. Loving mother of Garry Winger and his partner Judy Hannon. Loving mother in-law of Elizabeth Winger. Our special Nana will be missed by grandchildren Edward Winger and spouse Kellie, Lee Winger and partner Tammy Coniam and Janet Winger; great- grandmother to Scott and Adam Winger. Sibling to Lillian Dawe and her late husband Roy, Grace Bolton and husband Lorne. Ivy was predeceased by her brothers Robert and John and her parents Oswald Edward Fickling and Winnifred Fickling. Step- daughter of the late John Yelland. Many special thanks from the family to our special friend Ilene MacDonald, not only a best friend but loving caregiver. Remembered by special friends Doug and Shirley Canfield. Will be missed by many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 11 am to 2 pm. at ST. JOSEPH'S AT FLEMING, 659 Brealey Drive (Auditorium 1), Peterborough. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Great thanks to the staff at St. Joseph's At Fleming.
