SLIVITZKY Vladimir-S On November 12, 1998, peacefully at home surrounded by his family, after a courageous year-long battle with lung cancer. This kind and generous man is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Tania, son Serge (Charlotte), grandchildren Yuri, Kira and Peter and brother Michel (Janet), niece Anne and nephews Serge and Andre. Viewing at Blythe Bernier Funeral Home, 940 Ogilvy on Friday, November 13 from 4 to 9 p.m., service at 8 p.m. Church service (Otpevanie) at St. Peter and St. Paul Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 1175 Champlain at 7 p.m. on Sunday, November 15. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society of Montreal or disaster relief in Central America.
