KENYON, "Gerry" Gerald, Anthony In loving memory of Gerald Anthony Kenyon. It is with sorrow and regret that we announce the passing of Gerald Anthony Kenyon; a devoted husband and father. Predeceased by his life-mate Natalie, Gerry died peacefully Saturday August 7, 2004, in the care of St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, surrounded by family and friends. For whom we gratefully owe him one another, Gerald is survived by his family of seven children. Robert (Kathy) of Hamilton, Andrea Chambers (Gwyn) of Kitchener, Janet Wyman (Joe) of Sudbury, Cynthia, John (Nancy), Paul and Christopher (Lucille) all of Toronto. Apart from being an exemplary father, husband, teacher and provider, he was our banker, our counsellor, our electrician and our friend. Gerry is survived by Grandchildren Deborah, Catherine, Michael, Robbie, Julie, Stephanie, Chris, Anthea, Taylor, Mitchell, Allison and newborn baby Curtis. Dear Great Grandfather of Kristy, Daniel, Meghan, Jarrett, Seth, Sierra and Jenna. Son of the late Mary Ellen and Albert Kenyon of Montreal, Gerry was brother to Olive, Richard and Betty. Gerry was a proud member of Branch 76 of the Royal Canadian Legion, Holy Redeemer Parish and the former Minnow Lake Community Credit Union where he freely gave of his time. He was a fighter who recovered from seemingly insurmountable health issues in recent years and remained fiercely independent right up until the end. Above all else he enjoyed the company of his family and shared in a cottage reunion at Lake Rosseau only weeks before his passing. Special thanks go to his personal caregivers Diane Kolasa and Roger Domingue, who went above and beyond the call of duty to see to his care and comfort - we thank you! In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sudbury- Manitoulin. Our love, pride and respect of him will never fade. Resting at JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. Funeral Mass to be held at Holy Redeemer Parish, 1887 Bancroft Drive, Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at 10:00 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Interment at Sudbury Regional Cemetery, 365 Second Avenue, Thursday, August 12, 2004 at 3:00 pm. Prayers 4 pm Tuesday. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 pm Tuesday under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Br #76, Sudbury. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 pm Tuesday) 8/10/2004- ID4558815 - Sudbury Star
